Workhouse have sponsored Ribchester's 17th annual Festival of Music and Art. The festival took place over Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st June 2009. The event featured a wide variety of artists, including local singer Rick Guard, who performed a brilliant set on the Friday.

Workhouse Studios photographer Andrew Woodhouse has worked with Rick on a number of occasions including the filming of his promotional video for his band "uber" and taking the photos for his forthcoming CD.

One of the other highlights of the weekend was the annual Ribchester field day where there is a procession through the village and people create weird and wacky floats... such as the one pictured below which Workhouse designer Ben Jones was involved with.
