The cold weather has continues with even more snow falling in parts of Lancashire over night. According to some forecasts it's the longest cold spell in the UK for nearly 30 years.

Whilst this has made travel difficult for many it does provide photographers with a wonderful opportunity to capture the snowy conditions in all their glory. Buildings and landscapes take on an altogether different appearance as they are covered in a blanket of snow. Below are a series of images taken during the recent snowy conditions.
